Shelly brings sales, marketing, and customer service expertise to Friends of Pink Belt Mission. She spent the first 5 years of her career working with developmentally disabled children and adults in Therapeutic Recreation at Temple University's Woodhaven Center in Pennsylvania. To help her family, Shelly pivoted

to run the family's wholesale automotive parts distribution business for the next 10 years.

With her expertise and attention to detail, she remained in the industry, joining the international Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper organization where she served as VP of Sales and Marketing and Sales Director.

Shelly also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the non-profit, Friends of Ostomates Worldwide-USA. She is a former Vice President and now serves as Secretary and Public Relations Chair. The mission to help ostomates outside of the United States with products, supplies and education is her way to give back to this community. She also volunteers in the dog rescue community and was very involved with the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue during her years in Chicago.

Now enjoying retirement in southern California, she enjoys golf, pickleball, cooking, travel and spoiling her newly rescued French Bulldog. After seeing the Pink Belt Documentary and meeting Aparna, she felt instantly connected and knew she needed to get involved and contribute.
