ABOUT US
A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power
to create, nurture, and transform
Aparna Rajawat was working in London as an International Tour Director, was deeply shaken by the tragic 2012 Nirbhaya case in Delhi, where a young woman was brutally assaulted and later died from her injuries. This horrifying incident moved Aparna to return to India with a mission to create real change. In 2015, she founded Aaleya Welfare Society to sponsor education for underprivileged children and protect them from sexual abuse. Building on this foundation, she launched the Pink Belt Mission, a powerful initiative aimed at strengthening every Indian woman. The mission focuses on equipping women with essential knowledge and tools—ranging from health awareness, legal rights, cybercrime education, and self-defense, to computer literacy. With a holistic approach to safety—emotional, mental, legal, digital, and physical—the Pink Belt Safety Project empowers women to defend themselves and lead lives with dignity and strength.
In 2019, successful shoe exporter and entrepreneur Mansi Chadha joined the Pink Belt Mission, bringing with her a powerful vision for financial empowerment. Recognizing the importance of economic independence in women’s safety and confidence, she introduced vocational training programs that equip women with marketable skills. Together, they launched Sole Cause—a purpose-driven shoe brand where a major portion of the profits directly funds these training initiatives. Through Sole Cause, women not only learn how to craft high-quality footwear but also gain the tools to build sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
