Dr. Bonnie Smith

Director

Bonnie Smith received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Furman University, a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Clemson University. Dr. Bonnie served as the Program Director of a group home for teenage girls in foster care with Pendleton Place Children’s Shelter in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Bonnie was a Professor, Department Head, and Director of International Education at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South

Carolina, and served as an adjunct faculty member with graduate Social Work and Human Services programs at Winthrop University and Purdue University. Dr. Bonnie is now a psychotherapist working primarily with the members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.
